Now that Apple Stores are beginning to receive more reliable Apple Pencil shipments, some early adopters of the iPad Pro have been able to purchase the accessory over the past week and put it to the test.

Many of those iPad Pro users have been sharing their work in the MacRumors discussion forums, and many of the drawings posted have been very creative. Below is a gallery of some of the sketches shared.

Apple Pencil online orders still have 4-5 week shipping estimates, but some customers have had better luck visiting an Apple Retail Store in person. Apple Authorized Resellers such as Best Buy are also beginning to receive Apple Pencil stock.

My tablet drawings usually consist of a stick man and hill with a sun (smiling sun obviously).

We have a talented forum.

I finally made it to an Apple Store today and tried it out. I'm really impressed! The weight and feel of the pencil is perfect, and it was very responsive in Adobe Sketch. I tried writing as if it was a notebook and it actually looked like my handwriting!

My only disappointment and fear is that it is and will remain an iPad Pro exclusive. The iPad Pro is great at a table, but it felt kind of ridiculous standing there and browsing the web. I was getting the blank edges on webpages like when you go full screen on a 2560p monitor!

Apple Pencil + iPad Air size = heaven (for me, anyway)

Great. Maybe now they can draw my redesigned rMBP with Skylake, because at this rate, that's the only 'leak' we'll get.

I know alot of you are going to hate me for this, but a friend who's been using Wacom products for 7+ years tells me it is alot better than anything Wacom has to offer in terms of accuracy and shading.

He says he will combine it with astropad

To me this is a joke...seriously...you really need an iPad pro to draw??? For me, as a photographer and artist, it is useless because it cannot run a full version of the Photoshop and it doesn't have a file management system. I do not need more toys.
no one NEEDS an iPad Pro. Heck someone with the right skills can use leaves and a burnt stick.

and guess what, just because you worship at the altars of the user accessible file system and Photoshop doesn't mean everyone has to have them.

So don't buy it if you don't want it but don't pretend like it's a total piece of trash that no one should be buying cause it isn't want you want
