Facebook 3.0 Now Available in App Store

Facebook iPhone developer Joe Hewitt reports that Facebook 3.0 [App Store, Free] has been approved by Apple and is now available in the App Store. While the App Store description still contains information for version 2.5, the actual download is now version 3.0.

A note posted on the company's Facebook for iPhone page last week detailed the numerous enhancements in the new version, and offered screenshots of the revamped interface.

Can't get it yet, either via iPhone or iTunes.

Now it is there, but I had to click on update several times.

Itunes shows that update 3.0 is available but when you try and download it itunes then says no updates available. WTF. :):)

Worked eventually, just keep clicking on update.

Finally an update! Hopefully you'll finally be able to like things and from the pictures, the interface seems much better.

it's about time. Had to launch the app store 3 times before it showed up. Off to sample it!

Mine downloaded right off the bat. When I run it, I get a white screen for 20 seconds and then return to the main iphone icon screen. I'll try a reboot... :mad:


EDIT: I tried it once more before rebooting and now it's working. I hope it doesn't take three launches every time I want to use it...

Installed. Woo!

Finally. Mine showed up in the updates screen of the UK store on my phone after a couple of tries.
