CodeWeavers Offers CrossOver for Free Today Only

Sorry if this has already been posted, but did anybody see that CrossOver for Mac is free tomorrow?

Seems like if one of six political/economic goals were met, they would give away the application for free! It normally sells for $40. Pretty good deal!

*"accomplished" = mismanaged the overseeing of the US economy so poorly that fears of global recession has crashed markets world wide, resulting in spending cuts and reduced fuel demand thus reduced fuel prices.

CrossOver is a way to run certain compatible windows software without needing to run the resource hog known as windows.

The Codeweavers software, particularly CrossOver Mac, seems to be relativley well received here so I thought I'd post up a note that due to falling gas prices (yes, you read that correctly), all Codeweavers software will be available for free for 1 day only - October 28th. The full write-up is available here and while I've never tried CrossOver, I definitely intend to check it out tomorrow.

Thanks, guys, for posting the information (and yes, I think this thread is fine from a moderator standpoint -- thank you for asking :) ).

It'll be interesting to see if this gets any coverage. To be honest, Codeweavers are a pretty small company, and even though I've known who they are for some time now, I had not heard of this "lame duck challenge."
