New 3G Strings in iPhone SDK Beta 6

In addition to the earlier string giving user a method to turn on and off 3G ("Using 3G loads data faster, but decreases battery life."), Apple has added two warning strings if a user tries to turn 3G on or off during an active phone call:

- "Disabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to disable 3G?"
- "Enabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to enable 3G?"

Apple appears to be fine tuning the 3G experience on the upcoming 3G-capable iPhone.

I'm getting really anxious now... the 3G iPhone is close.. so I'm guessing the 3G iPhone will ship with 2.0 software

Which either means we'll have to wait till the end of june for iPhone 2, or software 2.0 will be released early. I hope its the latter.

Wonder if 3G will enhance the quality of the call. If not, then turning it off for phone calls makes a lot of sense.

Does 3G have anything to do with the call quality? I wasn't aware? That would be interesting.

Works for me......... merely claiming a loss or dropped signal was getting old.
