Apple Seeded Mac OS X 10.5.3 9D22

On Friday, Apple seeded developers with Mac OS X 10.5.3 build 9D22. The latest build offers 15 new bug fixes to the latest version of Mac OS X Leopard. Apple has been aggressively seeded 10.5.3 seeds to developers. The previous seed (9d19) was released only 1 week earlier.

Once complete, the final Mac OS X 10.5.3 update will become available as a free update to existing Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) users via Software Update. No target date is set, but testing for a new version can extend over several months.

Can't wait. I've had a kung fu death-grip on 10.4.11 until now. Been waiting for a reason to upgrade to Leopard. I just ordered the 8800GT for my 1st Gen Mac Pro and it only works on 10.5.2 or higher so I will need to finally take the plunge to "Spots". Will be nice to get both 10.5.3 and a better GPU at the same time.

Gah, useless without knowing which issues it fixes. It just makes me anxious in the meantime.

I think there pushing it quickly because its meant to fix the shutdown/restart problems that were introduced in 10.5.2, my 2 macs both regularly hang at this point since that last update.

Maybe this update they will fix the slow double mouse click speed setting. When the double click speed is set low the finder folders crawls to five seconds to open folders. Set it to high and no problems. Give it a try. I did for an apple store worker and they couldn't believe it.
