Pole Position Remix for iPod

Apple released Pole Position Remix (iTunes Link) game for iPods today on the iTunes store. The newest iPod game is from Namco and refreshes the classic Pole Position game.

Race to the finish line in Namco's classic arcade racer, Pole Position, remixed for the iPod. Avoid hitting cars, billboards, and other obstacles and downshift to make hairpin turns without careening off the track. Points are awarded for the distance you travel and for each enemycar you pass. Race well to unlock additional tracks, cars, billboards, and more.

I'd be psyched to see more classic games ported to iPod. Nothing like a little nostalgia in your pocket...

I think that they should go after a lot of the old games like Nintendo did with the WII. I spend more time playing the old downloaded games and the GameCube games on my WII than I do the actual bought games.
