Leopard Development Roadmap Revealed?
MacScoop claims to have procured the Mac OS X "Leopard" development roadmap running up to the software's October release.
Major build milestones are said to include a build by early July which will include some fixes for Airport, UI, API, and Developer Tools issues. A following build in August will be feature-complete, adding minor features and adjustments. MacScoop believes that the build handed to developers at WWDC was only mostly feature complete, and that Apple may still polish the user interface, including the menu bar and Dock.
Final Candidate stages are said to arrive in early September, with 4-6 weeks of testing until the Gold Master is certified, with a release in late October.

I see no actual source cited, though. I dunno...I'm gonna call shenanigans on this one. It would be incredible easy for someone to write this off the top of their head and submit it as "news."

Great another last day of the month release. Not that I expected any differently from Apple. I just want my new OS dammit!

In all fairness, that's the way any rumor site ends up operating, since we don't necessarily put our sources out on the line.

It would be weird to change the dock and menubar cos those were kind of the only big changes we saw at WWDC.
The one change I'd like to see is 3D icons to match the 3D dock, kinda makes sense! (Except for the trash, the one icon that already is 3D).

Only one thing that I WANT changed, and that's to put the rounded corners back in the menubar. They've been there since 1984 and it would be really sad to lose them now.

Then again we also lost, or got confused with some of the features that we saw in the first preview of Leopard and the second. iChat for example..

What im wondering, is how after releasing so many buggy builds of leopard after WWDC 2006, they managed to make such a stable build for WWDC 2007. Kinda irrelevant now. However, i want my goddam leopard.
