Apple Feb 28th Media Event Coverage [Event Over]

Apple's Feb 28th Media Event takes place at 10:00am Pacific at the Apple Town Hall Building in Cupertino, California.

The most likely products for release include an iPod Boombox and the Intel Mac mini.

Meanwhile, Intel iBooks and Touch Screen iPods are said to be coming soon, but not necessarily at this event. Finally, some analysts are expecting a full blown Movie-download service from Apple.

Event is Over!

what sucks is this place will probably be down for hours after, which seems to be normal due to the heavy traffic. I have class at 2 EST so if the event doesn't wrap up within the hour (starting at 1pm EST) I won't know until 3:30.

Then again, there's always the option of surfing the wireless network on my girlfriend's PDA in accounting class :-D hmmmm

Does "link to live coverage" mean the normal macrumorslive deal or is there a third party site that is doing live coverage?

there will probably be a few sites doing live coverage, but not us directly. so, we'll link to whoever is offering it, so people can get their fix. :)

Leopard's not due until next winter, plus or minus (but may be previewed at WWDC).

Will MR have its own live coverage already set up, or just hopes to find coverage to link to? EDIT: see above :)

(And I wouldn't count on MR going down... it took quite a load in January!)
