Sony BMG Artists Now Available on iTMS Australia
The Australian iTunes Music Store now includes artists from Sony/BMG. Tracks are $1.69, the same price as tracks from other labels. Albums are typically $16.99, although some are higher than this. Along with the release comes a special page called The Latest and Greatest, which includes a selection of newly-added Sony/BMG albums.
iTunes Australia launched on 25 October 2005, however Sony's entry into the Australian store was long delayed due to disagreements over the pricing model.

Looks like Sony BMG have got their act together - sort of. Rogue Traders have an exclusive pre-release of their "Watching You" EP and the iTMS has a featured collection of "latest and greatest" albums (mostly partial albums and "by song only" albums) by what are listed as "Sony Artists."
Haven't had an in-depth look but something might be worked out between the two companies.
EDIT: Yup, Ben Folds has Songs for Silverman and the Landed single on there "by song only," seems to be the entire Michael Jackson, the girl who won Aussie Idol, seems like a fair whack of the Sony catalogue. Most of the albums can't be purchased as albums though just yet.

It didn't before:p , i am suprised this hasn't been more publically announced, especially in the Australian media, Sony carries a lot of big name Australian Artists, they even have a Delta Goodrem playlist already!
Edit: I think it will be announced more publically, they haven't had a chance yet
