Intel iMac Disassembled, Early Benchmarks
Users are getting their hands on the first shipments Intel iMacs.
Kodawarisan has disassembled one of the new Apple Intel iMacs released at Macworld. The site is under heavy load due to interest and the images are also mirrored here. A picture of the Core Duo can be seen here
A few users have posted their informal benchmarks:

Hey all... looks like someone disassembled the intel iMac. I couldn't find a post about this, but I don't have good search skills.

The original G5 was so pretty inside. Everything Rev B and up is just hideous.

the Rev B iMac's (like mine) are just like the rev A inside, truly amazing. The Rev C is where it got horrible and you could only upgrade the RAM on the bottom of the computer.

The Core Duo chip is socketed-so it could be upgradable in the future.

Wow, the intel imac certainly has more unused space than the other imacs.
I also think that the first imacs were beautiful inside. I hope the new powermacs (or whatever they call them) don't look crappy inside.
