Apple offers NBC, Sci Fi, USA Shows on iTunes
Apple has greatly expanded the iTunes Music Store this morning to include a number of new television show content.
Apple originally launched the video/television portion of their iTunes Store with limited content -- including only three ABC shows, and two Disney shows.
Today, Apple has launched with a number of new NBC, Sci Fi and USA shows including:
NBC: Law and Order, The Office, Surface, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, Adam-12, Knight Rider
Sci Fi: Battlestar Galactica, Battlestar Galactica Miniseries
USA: Monk
Most episodes remains $1.99 per episode, and some of the shows offered are "vintage" episodes of older television shows (Knight Rider, Adam-12, Dragnet, Alfred Hitchcock). (A few "special" episodes are priced at $9.99 per episode.)
Update: Press release - Apple has sold over 3 million videos in the first two months of video sales.

I was just browsing the iTunes Music Store when I saw a splash screen for Monk and a link to Battlestar Galactica. They both led to video download pages but I cannot find them under videos. Of course, now I keep refreshing the page and I get nothing. Can anyone confirm this? Or am I crazy?

Well, I don't know exactly when the store refreshes but if it's midnight California time then it hasn't been refreshed. A lack of New Music Tuesday (Wednesday for me normally) means that there must be some significant updates to the content and new TV shows could be it. Although new TV shows means nothing for the rest of the world but for you guys it's pretty cool.
Hope we get something new and interesting out of it.

I'd be more excited if there were more shows that I thought were good....i mean there are some good ones, but it seems NBC has filled most of the site with "vintage" stuff. Personally, I don't really like the whole idea of downloading or even watching Night Rider (friggin' hairdoo pisses me off). But i am excited about monk. I've been meaning to watch some of it and it gives me a chance to download one episode to see if I like it to download more...ya know?81 months ago
I hope that BSG will not only have the tv mini but the series at some point. Fantastic that other networks are jumping on the bandwagon.
