Apple has posted PowerBook G4 Graphics Update 1.0 for 1.67GHz PowerBook G4s. The PowerBook must be on Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.2 to install this update.

- PowerBook G4 (15-inch, 1.67 GHz)
- PowerBook G4 (17-inch, 1.67 GHz)
The PowerBook G4 Graphics Update 1.0 improves graphics stability for some 1.67-GHz PowerBook G4 computers.

Wow... This is new. Does anybody know what this specifically fixes? Like is it a performance-type fix? Perhaps the drivers before the update misinterpreted a Core Image function? Neato gang! :D :rolleyes:

I haven't seen anything reported on this issue... I wonder why Apple chooses to pay attention to these updates instead of more serious problems like OpenGL crashes on the G5 SP1.8ghz
