Maybe I am being overly picky, but...

1. The review implied you can download "MP3s" from other music stores and transfer them to the iPod using iTunes. The MP3 part playing on the iPod is of course correct. But the other online music stores use WMA/non-Fairplay DRM'd AAC and they can't be played on the iPod/iPod mini. (EDIT: My mistake - he said "source" and not "store".)

2. They say you can get a 20GB iPod for $50 more. Wrong. The 15GB is $50 more, but it doesn't come with the inline remote, a USB2 cable or the belt clip (I believe the mini comes with all three). (EDIT: Apparently, no inline remote is included.)

3. Why didn't they remove the mini from the dock? He is waving the mini around while it is in the dock. Why? The dock wasn't hooked up to anything.

Oh well... all I know is that if I didn't have my 20GB iPod, I would be standing in line to get a silver mini.

iPod mini arrived at 9:30 AM CST, fully one day early.

Shamefully easy to add selected playlists and iSync knew it was there automaticallyÐI'm ready to go play. No time for the video.

This product beats expectations!

They didn't imply you could buy from other music stores. They implied you could download mp3's from the P2P/file-trading networks and use them... which is true.

That is a decent report.

I got mine yesterday and love the frickin thing so much! I finally feel like I'm in the club, what with those thin white wires hanging down from my ears :)

Perfect for the gym, even with the supplied belt clip...and my armband is on the fedex truck for delivery today :)

Anyone know if those microdrives are built to stand up to jogging of the device? Thinking of getting one for my girlfriend as a workout player. And then borrowing it a lot. :-)
