Promiscuous iPod Users? (Jack Sharing)
The process involves iPod strangers allowing each other to listen to each other's iPods to expose themselves to new music. Wired describes one user's "first time":
- Crandall was boldly approached by another iPod user, a 30ish woman bopping enthusiastically to some high-energy tune. "She walked right up to me and got within my comfort field," Crandall stammered. "I was taken aback. She pulled out the earbuds on her iPod and indicated the jack with her eyes." Warily unplugging his own earbuds, Crandall gingerly plugged them into the woman's iPod, and was greeted by a rush of techno.
Crandall goes on to describe repeating the interaction with others on his routine evening walks.

Of course, being the computer nerds we are, we don't walk in the great outdoors if we don't have to. ^_^
You whipper snappers think you know everything these days... ;)

would bluetooth even be fast enough for broadcasting? its a very slow connection standard. rendevous and built in airport would probably make more sense. Either way, it seems unlikely to me. though a built in FM transmitter would be a cool way to connect to your car stereo and what not, and if it had an FM receiver as well, you could do it that way perhaps.
