All Things Digital
The Wall Street Journal is hosting an event called "D: All Things Digital" on May 27th 2003:
At D, there will be no canned speeches, no huge panels, no sales pitches -- and no PowerPoint allowed. Instead, the top leaders of the digital world will appear on stage for a series of unscripted Wall Street Journal-style interviews with Mr. Mossberg and Ms. Swisher. To promote thoughtful discussion and meaningful networking, the audience will be limited to roughly 300.
Steve Jobs is scheduled to appear, along with other technology leaders including Bill Gates and Steve Case.

WSJ style interviews? *booooring*
Gimme some WWF style interviews repleat with sumptuously fleshy girls and loud sweaty guys and let Steve and Bill go after it in a steel cage match!
Obviously Bill would win, but only by Grabbing a hold of steve (embrace), holding him up over his head (extend), and then smashing him repeatedly into the wall of the cage (extinguish).
*grin*

I guess not a single one of us will be in attendance given the $3000 cover charge.
Somebody sneak a live camera in there.

$3k! Goodness, I would actually pay it for an opportunity to see competing visionaries try to one-up each-other. I am also tempted by a chance to see how effective Steve is when he doesn't have a bunch of Mac users eating out of his hand.

WSJ: "....are the doors locked?"
Bill, Steve J, Hillary, Steve C in tandem:
"The jokes on them....We Rule the world!!! Muwahaha Muawhahahaha Muawahaha Muawahaha...."
(laughing ensues till about 11:00 a.m. until it slowly begins to die out, the panel members look around with a gloss in their eyes, get up- and act like nothing happened...)
WSJ:"..and the concludes todays conference, thanks for stopping by."
