Recently, MacSlash and AppleTurns posted stories pointing to Amd support documented at Apple's website for Mac OS X Jaguar.

While many of you realize that this is simply referencing the automount daemon (amd), we are still getting submissions on this topic.

So, for the last time: Amd = Automount Daemon.
